Seija has spent more than 25 years building creative teams and efficacious K-12 products. As Executive Vice President of Strategy, she drove portfolio expansion at Imagine Learning. The company’s revenue doubled during her tenure, and the organization expanded from an ESL niche to a broader market, including literacy, mathematics, and assessment. As Publisher for ESL and Literacy at National Geographic Learning, Seija managed a print and digital product portfolio that accounted for 75-80% of the division’s revenue. Seija also led major product initiatives at Riverdeep, Classroom Connect, and Addison-Wesley Longman. She began her career as a teacher and still makes time to volunteer in local classrooms to keep in tune with the ever-shifting context for teaching and learning.
